Anyone played around with it? I have photomatix and usually try to shoot several pics at a time then combine them with photomatix, then take it over to photoshop and blend features from the pic back in to make it look less fake, or to combine the foreground from the original pic with the sky version from the hdr...

The canon I have has a mode for hdr that takes 3 pics in a row at different exposures, probably many of the newer ones do.

Couple examples I've tried to shoot when out and about:

This is a beach in kauaii as I was heading to fish off the rocks. Got some blurry shit on my lense off center to the left.



^^ same time as pic above on my way to go fishing.


2600593805_91e92f2768.jpg <-- is in WA state at low tide on the olympic peninsula 1.5 hours from Seattle. You're allowed 10 lbs of shucked oysters if you have a shellfish license.

3612057737_905ca6ef4c.jpg Down on the border of WA and Oregon. Hardest part was snapping more than 1 pic that weren't blurry because it was windy and raining and the bushes were moving around.

Anyone else use photomatix or shoot multiple shots at different exposure and blend them together?
