Welcome to the time machine
I am running 2 x 4x4 tables of Hindukush
ebb and flow but using constant drip right now to get roots onto table.
I vegged to 22'' on most, but have smaller ones for comparison
I am going to try 6/12 photoperiod and shoot for a 45 day finish
I gave plants 48 hrs of darkness before flipping
and after 1 day of 6/12 gave them 80 mls of bushmaster per 40 gal res
This might result in hermies but lets keep our fingers crossed-
If you have any 'Tips" for the drip system,or e&f method,or bushmaster please share as this is my first time doing e&f/drip/6/12
I am willing to fuck up a 4x8 in the name of science, and RIU,cause i love you guys.
Ideally i would have a control tent to compare too but this will be a bit behind (2-3 weeks)

i can run either 2 x 600s or 2 x 1000 in a/c hoods but will start with the 600s

My concerns:
1) How long to run bushmaster in res on constant drip @2mls per gal
2) How long to run BM with ebb and flow @2mls per gal

I will get pics up as soon as i can but bare with me while i get things going>This is going to be fun-:peace:bongsmilie:peace:

Greetings from the future!
Its has been 4 actual "earth days"of 6/12 but in the time machine i get an extra day (18hrs) per 3 days if my math is correct.
I am running 600 watts per table and might increase to 1k per table in the next day or so.Below is a pic i just took, not sure how long to leave the bush master in res but it has been in the res for 2 1/2 earth days.
I am also considering doing a foliar of it yrs but am hesitant to foliar with kelp as i dont need another factor that could herm my ladies in the mix.
Iam not running co2 but will probably in the coming week.I had a thrip problem but sprayed 2 days ago and have noticed no burn from the BM yet
I am wondering if the bm will speed up the 45 day cycle to 30-35 days? This hindu is very fast so that would be amazing if it did, cheers its time for a glass of boxwine

Hi MMU thanks for stopping by,
A friend runs 5/12 and says his yield is about 2 grams less per plant than with 12/12.
with the savings in electricity/nutes/time im looking to save money/time and have a simiar yield. The 33% savings in electricty is really attractive as my electricity bills hurt.
Cheers

Well all is well aside from the fact i turned the lights on 6hrs early yesterday so rather than go on from that time I left them on for 12hrs as to keep them on there cycle, hopefully this didnt trip them out too much.
The bushmaster seems to have done its job and there was minimal burning of leafs.
I ran fresh water for the next 2 days then slowy added nutes and will be at full strength nutes today.I was told to use co2 in the tent which is 4x8 and i have a hydrofarm co2 regulator and am not sure on the cfm of the unit as it goes from 0-60 is this cfm?
I am curious, should i kill te intake fan when co2 comes on or no?
Thanks for your help

i think you maybe should turn it off to let more co2 chill around the plants .keep us updated on the time machine

i would like to see what happens if a person ran an 6 on, 6 off, veg cycle as well.

Hypothetically, the plant would never see the 12 hours of straight darkness, and thus, would never bloom premature...

but in the meantime, the person would be running lights only 12 hours a day.

I would be curious to see what happened.

That 6/6 for Veg sounds like it would be great for mother plants that dont have to get that huge between clippings

Greetings
I am on 22 earthdays in and unfortunatly do not have a straigt 12/12room of same strain going.I will retry the next round with a side by side but these clones got a bit too big on sittin in the cloner. The buds are looking nice, and the canopy even.
I am gettin co2 on monday,i believe this will be crucial to the short day cycles sucess.

I just hit them with nitrozime yesterday, and cleaned out res the day before, everything looks good and they get a thrip spray in a day.
off to sleep HBR

Still sounds like this is a awesome experiment, you can still see how many grams you get per plant in the SOG. I feel that this method would work best with SOG in evaluating its effectiveness. How many plants do you have few sq foot. +Rep

Greetings,
I have 14 x of the larger vegged ladies on one side and 16 of the smaller ones on the other, all are in 3 gal pots (had em handy)

I will take some pics when lights go on tonight,i am looking forward to getting co2 in there soon maybe weds.

How close is ideal for 1kw air cooled hoods? I think there about 12" above tops right now
