so many questions so little time, 1st is my smaller plant is living outside, this morning I went out to check on it and it has very little white dots all over all the leaves, please help, dont know whether it is a deficiency or bugs,, was being watered by sprinklers every morning but yesterday I stopped the sprinklers, and now this, I do live in vegas so not sure whats going on, plant is surrounded by weeds for camo.... any suggestions. still cant figure out how to post pics.......

ap... you need to go to the "go adavnced" buttom just below the quick reply box.

then clcik the "manage attachment" button.. then just choose a picture in your computer... your picture can noyt be huge... the site has a size limit

look under your leafe... do you see any bugs or webs.. take a deep breath and just relax and look closely..... :)

what size container is the plant in? is the new growth (on top of the plant) vigorous and healthy? do the newest fan leaves look bigger than the previous sets?

cheers

o.k. deep breath, got it,, plant is in, what looks like a 3 gallon size, not quite 5,, its only about 14 in. tall, just looked under leaves and thanx,,I got bugs,, anything good to use from lowes or h.depot... workin on pics.. freakin me out when everything has been goin so good then,, lookin grim...

ap.. there are 2 things you should do..

1. hang up flypaper or some sticky paper.
2. if your plant is in an enclosure where there are no humans, you should get some .. "no pest strips" and put them near your plants.. these will kill the bugs on your plants... if you have spider mites, you could be FOOKED.. they are very serious bugs that have a good long fight in them... i do believe the no pest strips are toxic and should not be HUNG around people... check the box for clarification...

keep us posted... sorry to hear about your bugs.. at least the problem has been diagnosed... how many BUGS do you see? do you see webs...?

love

when I shake the plant, lots of little (very little) bugs start flyin around,, I have dogs so I was kinda hopin to find a good spray as strips might fall from excessive winds and harm the dogs... thanx a million for your help, this site rocks...

smaller plant is getting sick,,, was being watered everymorning, but read that once every 3 days is best and not tap water, so now I use filtered water once every 3 days, but lookin bad, maybe go back to the way it was?????? leaves on this one are alot smaller than other plants, is that a prob....

you have serious stretching going on... you need more light... Thatplant may never recover unless you clone it...

do not water unless the soil is dry.... this is VITAL.... you do not want to over water... this is a major error with new growers.. GIVE shit loads of water and then back off and wait until the soil drys.. the roots need oxygen and water...

watch this video too..
pH Water - See More Buds

cheers

I have something similar going on with mine (about 4 weeks into flowering)...from what I've reasearched it looks like a magniesium deficency...but I don't want to throw newts at it this late.

solid diagnosis.... :)

without knowing if the pH is correct... he can't know how to address it..

cheers

I was also thinking of cloning... here is the one indoors, maybe heading for same problem, but Ill work on it, letting it dry out a bit first for some air?
