A buddy of mine was germinateing a auto flower seed and this is how it came out, he did the paper towel method but he had a lil bit of sun light on em.

Yea looks like a seed that should be in the ground

Yes, prepare your hole so the seedling faces as little resistance as possible.

It probably won't do much else, some just abort like that. You can try planting it and see if it grows.
