Have You Had Success With a PC Stealth Grow?

I live in an apartment building so space and smell are major considerations for a little grow.

I have two large PC cases that I can use, one for vegging, the other for flowering.

I'm considering a two or three plant PC stealth grow and have a couple of questions:

1.) I'm planning on vegging in the PC case, but should I also flower i there as well? Will space become a major problem? (the pc case is maybe 19 in in height.)

2.) Have you had success with a stealth grow?

3.) How bad will it smell/ what strategies should I use to eliminate smell, especially during the curing? Thanks guys!

I did a micro grow in a box the approx size of a pc case, you need an inlet fan or negative pressure and at least 2 good fans pulling a fair amount of air out. I used one 120mm fan with a 52watt cfl and the heat was about 30 degrees F above recommended but i gain about 7 grams off one plant that i didn't veg due to height issues.

there is a homemade carbon filter/scrubber in a thread on this site but i haven't been able to find it again for you, have a look about.

All i can really say is make sure you have thought of ways to eliminate heat problems if you do have any cus its the make or break of it really IMO.

Good luck.

Can't comment on the pc grow and space but as far as smell goes ONA gel works very good. Completely hides the smell of my 13 plants when i don't have my carbon filter on.

I agree, ONA make some good products that work a treat. My mate has 15 plants in a poorly made tent lol ONA block didn't help him much due to not having an air tight tent but it did work a little bit. Think im gunna try some this time round rather then buying a filter and see how good they work. If they aren't as good as you want then you can always go back to square one. Or in my case now buy a carbon filter but i want to see how good these ONA blocks/Gel is.

Tip: Dont get the spray, its ace for quick smells but its airbourne and can easily be sucked out by your ventilation. Best bet is block or gel.
