hi everybody!! have just arrived aerogarden's world

I have the ph already controled (5., and i'm using rain water.
I will use led bulbs while it grow and red leds for flowering. will post pics

i have one questións

it use to talk a lot about light, 20-4 , 24, 12-12, 18-... but nobody says how many hours will we put the water on and off...
how many hours irriganting? 24?

i leave my airpump on all the time. If I did not have a AirPump, I'd leave the AeroGarden running all the time.

you have to remember the term aerogarden
the word aero is for air . if you leave the pump on
24/7 for your water the clones/cutting/plants
you are vegging wont get as much air.
keeping them wet all the time raises the risk
of root rot they need time to breathe

ok, do you think 18-6 hours light and 20-4 hours water could be the best choice?

i run my babys at 18/6 my preferece
my timer 15/15 for water
check the roots and
watch the leaves the leaves tell the story
if the loose color and start yellowing
start laying down a little bit thats to much water
increase the intervolts of off time
you will get the hang of it good luck

I've got my AirPump on 24/7, lighting is 24/7; My plants are VERY happy.

Didn't understand much else that was mentioned in this thread.. The best of luck to you!

Also; if that's Foil you are using; discard it and either paint the side walls White or use White Panda Film or Mylar. But never Aluminum Foil. (It will cause your plants to stress and burn potentially)
