I tried to log into the Pick n Mix site but it doesn't seem to exist anymore. There is no trace of it in a Google search. I hope it hasn't closed. It was a good site - good prices and service. Has anyone any information?

I was wondering the same. Tried to go seed purchasing couple of days ago, just to get disappointed, they were the best place to purchase seeds from, hope they're not gone for good, but it looks bad.

I think they have closed down, for what reasons I don't know. They were my favourite seed bank for a number of years too and was also a bit upset to see them go. I suspected something was wrong when the last two orders they sent me had the wrong seeds in, which they never did over the years. I was lucky that the seeds they sent were amazing (Girl Scout Cookies), so I couldn't be angry. But, in terms of medical, sending wrong seeds to customers is very wrong.
For now, I've found a good service at 'Herbies Pick n Mix Seeds'. Their bank isn't quite as extensive as Picknmixseeds' but they have all the essential strains and at reasonable prices. I was also used to paying with credit/debit card at Picknmixseeds, so was surprised when I couldn't find another seed bank with a card payment service, only bank transfers and postal/bank orders, which is how Herbies works.
So, I put my order in on a Monday and they immediately sent me the details on how to pay. I couldn't transfer the payment the same day or the next day, but did so on the Wednesday. Within 20 minutes of paying, Herbies emailed me a payment confirmation notice, which was pretty good considering I was asked to email them when I transfered the payment. A couple of hours passed and they sent another email with my shipping tracking number etc, etc, and the next day my package arrived safely. It was a UK to UK postal service but Herbies still included a DVD case in the Jiffy envelope to protect my order, where Pickmixseeds wouldn't.
I only grow for myself to help with a couple of medical conditions, so I only order 2 seeds every couple of months. In the 8 years of using Picknmixseeds, I didn't receive 1 free seed! Yet, I've just ordered my 2 seeds from Herbies and I got 3 free (1 fem, 2 reg). This makes a massive difference for a small grower like myself and is nice to have some spares in the draw just in case. I'm keeping the feminised for myself and donating the regulars to a friend in need. Thanks you, Herbies.

Really never any free seeds from picknmix? I have ordered there three times, got free seeds twice. I'm in canada so the first order they sent me canadian cheese, second order no freebies, and third (and last order I guess) they sent me canadian lemonaide. I ordered a number of seeds each time so I guess I'm good to go for a while but it sucks that they shut down. I was checking out choice/attitude a while back. i think i'll go with that in the future. lots of freebies there and they have a good way to pay for your items. you should check it out. I used to pay by prepaid credit cards. but canada is set to legalize here, or so they say, so I guess seeds may be easier for me to get here in a few months.
