Has Anyone Had Success Without Modifying Their Aerogarden?

I have read many posts about the aerogarden but have noticed everyone seems to modify the unit. Has ANYONE really succeded in growing pot with this unit as it is from seed to bud? I have a lot of interest in the unit but am still skeptical about the results. I wanted to try the deluxe version but i'm still waiting on the post that will sway me into buying one. I don't want to go out and buy extra lights, fans or anything else other than nutes. Is it possible to have success with this or is it just hype? SHOW ME THE POSTS WHERE ANYONE HAS SUCCEDED WITH THIS UNIT WITHOUT MODIFYING IT. (PLEASE)

I think you are correct to be skeptical. I haven't seen any unmodified successful aerogarden grows (though i suspect there are some).

my argument was always if you are going to spend that money on an aerogarden and then customize it, why start with the aerogarden? its hydroponic system isn't very good and if you read through the threads, there seems to be nothing but problems.

however, it could be that folks who are having great success with the aerogarden aren't bothering to post because they don't need any help. But i am curious about this also.

if you didn't modify your aero garden you would not get a plant taller than 24inches it's a great system but there are better ways

I bought my aerogarden and these girls from my buddies who were leaving on a trip and they didnt have any other lights but stock. once i got them i put them into 12/12 with a 400HID light i had. Right now they are on day 40. too avoid light issues because one plant was much taller than the other, i decided to bend the plant on the right. the plants are bag seed but i think they might be snow white. they have a heavy amount of trichromes, sticky bud, and smells fruity kind of like fruity pebbles. my buddies didnt take too good of care of the girls but i managed to do the best i could with what i got.

havnt had any problems with the aerogarden. love it! very low maintenance. just make sure your giving plenty of oxygen to the roots and your good to go.

by the way there is no way your going to be able to produce any kind of a decent yield with stock lights in the aerogarden.

sorry about the low quality pictures, cant find my camera cord and all i have is my cell.

peace

well... i havent really modified my AG persay, and for the most part its growing perrty good... I HAD 4 cfl's but broke three trying to ghetto rig my setup... i dont have an airstone, and roots are looking lovely.... i have two broken down shoe boxes with aluminum foil taped on em.. thats a bout all the mods i have to mine.

Though am realist, and with my knowledge of how much light it takes to grow plants, i know im goin to need more light to have a bigger yield... but as far as getting bud from seed, i think the AG alone could do it. You may to tie shyt down and top very often to keep it short, as well as flower and harvest quick, because the lights on the reg AG only raise 12''.

But who knows, maybe at 28 days you all had forests growing compared to mine, but so far, im impressed with the results and how little the maitnence is...

anyway, check out my journal, comments and suggestions are a godsend...
