How do you mean? the Chop? or after the first Trim and hanging(If you do it that way) OR are you Talking about the Signs of when she is ready to Chop?

Loads of info out there on YouTube with great examples. Check out hygrohybrid, grow420guide or sirsly or oneshot. Anyhow... When you got brown hairs and when your trichs are cloudy is an easy way to assess. If you want a couchlock wait for amber trichomes....if you want heady less amber is better. Get a 40x scope off eBay or amazon under 10 bucks

Depends on the high you want as well as the strain...
1,The typical is 10% amber, the majority cloudy, and like 5-10% clear ones, You'll be harvesting at ideal psychoactive time, more thc, less cbd & cbn OR...
2,You can flower till your whole damn thing is basically amber tricombs for more of a body stone / numb body / dead weight kinda feel with reduced psychoactive effect (For me more psychoactive cloudy = more paranoia). This just makes more cbd & cbn, less thc.
Either way from above I would just try not to sell yourself short by harvesting too soon.
