Harvesting when plant dies

Has anyone harvested when the plant itself has died, and if so what was the potency and taste of the buds

I've gotten some off a dead plant before. Its terrible. Buds all brown and whispy. Hardly any potency. Smells kinda like garbage.

brown and whispy, sounds like some way premature garbage in the first place.

That being said, ive harvested after a plant has died from natural causes and its been fine, if not slightly better than if it had been hacked.

Every plant is dead before harvest. We cut em down just before they croak themselves naturally.

Still though, if a plant had problems and had to be cut down early, the THC isnt in it to be worth really doing anything with.

Might make some hash, but it wouldnt be that good or really worthwhile.. *shrug*

I cut my last plant down the other week - it was well and truely gone...

Started 12/12 in december and left it COMPLETELY to its own devices after a month and it died...I eventually got around to harvesting it the other week and well, amazingly its pretty good stuff and I got a decent amount considering!

Paradise Jackie White - £9 per seed...I just kind of lost interest/time in it for some reason so I just left the timer on and abandoned it (no water or anything from the end of december...I know, shoot me) - its strong stuff though I gotta say that...hell, its effectively been air cured on the stem for 3 and a half months lol

I won't be abandoning any more grows though...getting the trim off is a REAL pain in the arse when it's all crispy/dead
