Harvested and noticed aphids

I chopped my outdoor plants, gave rough trim and washing before hanging in the garage. They've only been hanging a couple days.
I felt it was too humid so I was starting to transfer some in the house when under better lighting I noticed some aphids, not a lot but a few here and there, mostly wingless but I did notice a small winged one.. So they're back in the garage because I don't want to risk bringing them into the house.

I did have some black sooty mold spots on some leaves and branches but could never find the culprits, guess it was aphids after all.

Should I do anything about them at this point? They hung on really well when I dunked and shook the branches in h2o2 and water.
I assume as the plant dries they'll drop off/die but worried the harvest is ruined with the black sooty mold spots, assuming there may be some in the flowers at this point?

I've read here on RIU that you can spray citric acid (diluted in water) on growing buds. Aphids secrete honeydew. I'm guessing that's why you have the black sooty mold. H2O2 is known to kill some types of mold, but you may have to let it soak. Citric acid is also said to be a fungicide. Were I in your shoes, I'm not sure what I'd do, since the drying process has already commenced. Maybe someone else will know.

The aphids will die and fall off as the plant dries. I also had some this season. Doesn't bother me

If you have plants indoors and you don't want to risk spreading then that is a realistic concern and you might want to keep them in the garage until dried.

Yeah I moved them back into the garage and hooked up my dehumidified, it got the RH down to 60%.. it was 70% when I decided to pull them.
I found maybe 15 aphids on 16 branches. I noticed I had ladybugs on the plant when harvesting, they must have kept the aphids relatively under control

Just trim off the affected stuff. Youll be fine, every outdoor grower has to deal with the same
Thanks, I went over each branch and anything suspect I removed, tbh there wasn't really anything on the buds, just the leaves and stems.. If I noticed any dirtiness around the bud stem I removed it

i am not that lucky, I use a 30X and see many tiny white aphid shell stick on it, I wash it a couple of times and it is still there, wonder if you notice that?
