Ummm YEAH!!! I would say she is good and ready. Just make sure after all this hard work that you dry and cure properly :hump:

Congrats :joint:

Thanks, guys, 9 weeks today!!!! I plan on hanging upside down in a box for approx a week, then curing for two to three months

damn buddy nice grow. Id def say that your ready to chop. Once you start the cure, if you only fill the jars loosely 2/3s full you should be able to smoke very high grade bud after 3-4 weeks. Dont get me wrong, curing is all about slow drying and a 2-3 month cure can yield some KILLER dope. But make sure you rotate the buds twice a day and keep that jar open 15min twice a day. You dont want to go through all this work to only end up with some moldy buds. Tasty looking grow man, +rep

Thanks, man...but the fucking shame of it is that these plants hermied on me and seeded my whole crop, so the mother had to perish.

I have two of these Trainwreck plants and I dought either has an oz of bud on them after being under a 1000 HPS for 9 weeks....shitty, seeded yeild.

The good news, I now have the following seed strains:

Trainwreck X Afghan
Trainwreck X Snow White
Trainwreck X Thai Skunk
Trainwreck X Trainwreck IBL ?

I may give the Afghan cross a try

Thanks, man, another question:

How long do you continue to open the jars for? A week, two weeks? I know at some point the buds will be at optimum moisture and should be sealed for long term storage. So how do you know when to stop opening the jars and seal for long term?

Anyone, please...

after two weeks i only open my jars for 10min once a day and i keep them sealed indefinatley after 4 weeks. Just make sure to take the biggest bud you have and break it in half. the bud moisture should be the same throughout before you seal the jars to ensure no mold developes.

Finally, a direct answer from ROI!!

OK, got it. Open the jar twice a day for 15 min for the first two weeks, and then once a day for 10 min for another two weeks for a total of four weeks.

Of course, I'm sure there are other factors, humidity, bud density and size, etc...but thanks for the estimation!!

first let me say, beautiful grow dude, really sweet looking buds. secondly, dont get all caught up in measuring minutes the jar is open. just fill your jar about half way up. when you get up in the morning open the jar and shake the buds around a little bit so they all get exposed to fresh air. do it 1, 2, 6 times a day doesnt matter. that being said be sure to check the dampness of the buds. some times when you jar them they rehydrate too much and get pretty damp again. if this happens and the bud seems real wet again, just open the jar and set it on a shelf for the day. it will dry out again in a day or 2, and when it does just shut the jar and start over again. usually takes about 2 weeks until you will start noticing a real dankness starting to set into your buds. then-----PRIMO killer bud dude! again, really great looking buds dude.

Hey, thanks, man

The problem I run into here in the Denver area is the lack of humidity. The last time I dried it was crunchy in a few days. I beleive this is detrimental to the smoke....Anyway, I'm using boxes to slow down the drying process....check it out

used to live just outside the springs on the west slope of pikes so i know exactly what ur talking about. if it gets crunchie i just cut a fresh bud off another plant, doesnt have to be a big one, and throw it in the jar. they will rehydrate. you can basically use anything moist like a piece of bread, an orange peel, slice of apple, a little humidity disk from a cigar humidor. wish i still lived in the springs i would drive up and sample the TW.

LOL...I took a few small samples, but the rest I'm going to try to give a two month cure!!

Go by the smell.
When you jar it up, it always gets that 'fresh cut hay' smell. Keep opening the jar until that smell is completely gone. After it is gone, continue to sniff it for about a week to make sure it does not return. At that point close it up and leave it sit in a dark cool place.

Good smoking.

Good advice, I like this method
