harvest to veg

I finished a grow and have harvested, but I need to keep the plants alive to take clones. I've read that you can take clones as late as 2-3 weeks into flower, but its been a full 7 weeks. What are the chances the plants stay alive?

I don't have any seed, and i don't want to order through the mail.

Thanks for the help

you can take clones anytime you want to, it's just really hard (for some people, not all) to get them to root and not die. take your clones, hope for the best.

what do people do when they want clones from a mother plant and you know how you leave those in veg? then how would you be able to know if it were female or not if it stays in veg?

You can put a flowering plant back to the vegetative stage by putting it under 24 hour light for a period of anywhere from a week to a month. Leave on some of the wispier buds at the bottom and a fair bit of foliage. I've done this several times succesfully. Do a search, I think there's a thread here .

Iv'e always taken mine just after they start to show sex but I have taken 4 or 5 weeks into flower and had no bad results just got to keep them alive until they go back into veg state.
