harvest time?

Hello everyone. here is the bubblelicuse

Do you think harvest time is near? mabye even right now? trichomes are about 10-20% amber, the rest are cloudy.

should I do a 48 hour dark peiod for the plant to help her finish up, flush her with ice even?

The purple urkle has been moved to a different location, due to being grown in a small space and to much heat, she got pretty crispy. I'll have her back when the veg box is up and running. in a few weeks.

When to harvest is strictly up to you, your research, desires and patience. However, I have to say that your really falling into the well of voodoo pot growing. Dark before harvest? Ice flushing? WTF? None of that shit is necessary for a great harvest. There is no cheating to get ahead in pot growing. Good luck out there.

Love the term "voodoo pot growing". I instantly recall a post where the OP must have used the voodoo bible of growing for the last two weeks of 12/12. His intention was to trick the plant into thinking the end is near. The most startling method employed was dumping a bucket of ice cold water into the soil medium. Extreme measures for sure. Cutting back to a max 11/13 is the only change I make in late flowering. That is of course if the plant is a 9 weeker now in week 12 of flowering.

Last run of Holy Grail Kush I had 3 big girls that at day 67 they were WAY ready, but I wasn't. so I just left em in the dark for a week, (so cut on day 74) other than being almost 70% amber (which is what I would expect from going that long). I think all I did was save a buck or two on power.

On a side note those flowers were almost all run as BHO and OH FUCK what devastating oil. I think letting go as long as I did changed the terpine profile and the taste was a super super strong KUSH that lingered a bit to long on the palette. IT became an annoying taste after a while. ANd again the flavor profile changed because how long I left it not because it was dark (IMO).

I harvested some of the big colas, left med/ small nugs on so they could ripen up and harvest later.light now 11/13. I'll post yeild later, when eveythings dryed. she was vegged for a month,and flowerd for 7weeks.

dry weight ; 15 grams, grown under 100watts florescents, cfls and tubes. used MG tomato food for veg and botanicare flowering nutes and bud sweetener.
soil was 2 parts spangonuim peat moss, 1 part compost.

Alright. Ordered two 48x48x79in. Yescom grow tents. Cheap.
One 1000watt hps mh ipower dimmable 50% 75% 100% output.
Already owned in storage shed. 400wat Apollo hortoculure ballast. Both 1000 and 400 have mh and hps bulbs. Both dimmable. Both air cooled hood with add on reflectors.
Aeroponic cloner 18 site.
400cfm fan with 6x16in carbon filter.
Fan speed controller.
5 650 gram coco coir bricks.
5 pack 2 gallon smart net pots.
Flora series nutes by general hydroponics 32oz. 3 parts flora grow, bloom, micro.
. should I start a new thread or have this one changed into a grow journal? And is 4x4 x6.5 foot too small for 1000 watts? With 400cfm fan?

With this setup and the three part flora sereies from general hydroponics, is it likely I can achieve the 1/2 gram per watt. Possibly more? I don't have any ph up and down, and my water is tap is high in pH. Usually 7-8. And I have no pH meter. Working on ordering some when funds are available. What yeild can I expect?
I poped 23 mystery seeds that were tan instead of black with strips. I'm surprised they poped. 19 have sprouted and removed the shell, 4 have yett to shed their shells but have poped out of the soil.
Any tips on plant count affecting harvest?
Remember 1000 watt hps mh + 4x4x6.5ft of space. Id like a short veg time. Hoping they are indica dominate for the 8week flower cycle.

Thats what Ive been"experimenting" with. Letting lower buds finish even a day or two longer.

I like the aroma of the bubblelisious I even harvested a big early and it was still tastey. She only had 100- 150 watts of cfl and flrecent tubes

I'm not familiar with this product. Is it useful for the calcium and magnesium content in combination with pure coco?, due to its tendency to hold onto the cal- mag.
