Harvest near/What do you think?

Hello, this plant has been flowering over 8 weeks under a 250 and now a 1000w HPS light.
Had minor heat stress early in flowering, and had been fine since except for a few yellow spots as can be seen in the pics...
I checked tonight on my trichomes with a 60x-100x scope and alot of the buds have alot of cloudy ones and even a few amber (not alot)...But there's also alot of real small trichs...
This is my second grow and first harvest (other plant ate by dog) and I want to make sure I do it right...
Please feel free to comment, and a +1 for those that do...
I hear alot of people talk about the pistils turning red/orange...Does this matter for harvest...Also, checked again today in better light, almost all of the trichs are cloudy, and some amber...

woah, a dog ate your other plant! crazy.. once you start to see amber trichs it's getting really close, i look for 1/3 or a little less of amber trichs on my plants before i chop

Would you prefer getting less bud that gives you a more upper type high or more couchlock type high? Is this personal or are you selling and need to chop asap? You did a good job either way, the plant looks pretty good. still has alot of swelling to do.

It's gona be personal, I may sell to a few friends...
If it has more swelling that's cool, it's just taking forever lol...
I prefer a little of both, so i may chop some off when they're cloudy and then wait like a week and chop the rest...The bottom buds are gona need more time anyways, cause there's still real small ones on the branches.
Bout how long you think she has left...

for amber trichs and maximum bud swelling you've probally got a month or so very rough guess and a few weeks on the ones you want for the head high.

I dont know. Almost every pistil looks bright white still.

I started flushing today, over half hairs red, and all trichomes cloudy.

Yours look like they could go a little while longer.your call in the end though.
Nice buds bro...nice and green! Good job!
I have one same stage and 85% hairs brown, Strong indica, cloudy trich's, and nice and green.
I have been wondering when is the ideal time to harvest too...I would like to see amber trich's...at least a few but not one yet????
Does it have an over ripe stage??? Or can you let them go too long?

I am flushing now cause I've had a major issue with yellow and dying leaves, as you can see in the pics. I am thinking it's a disease of some sort cause leaves around dying ones get it.
I plan on flushing for a week and seeing if I see any amber trics near the end, or if the buds swell...I've been growing the plant for over 4 months now, and I need to get ready for my attitude seed grow, which are doing ok from the looks of it...see pics (These are old, they're a little bigger, and the small one topped itself...).

Some harvest top and let the bottom finish up! This will ripen up the bottom buds.

Topped itself??? How's that?

Yeah, I'm thinking about doing the multi harvest thing...growing the seeds, Rocklock and Straberry Blue...and the Rocklock topped itself somehow...crazy huh?
