Harvest in stages?

I was wondering, my girls are almost ready to harvest but if I harvest the top large buds and leave the smaller lower buds will the smaller buds develop or should I harvest all of the buds.
I have heared of people getting 2 or more harvests from a crop
Is this how it is done ?

people use the double harvest as a descriptor for harvesting the top cola and letting the rest finish, but some also use it for harvesting all the nugs off the plant, revegging, and flowering the same plant a second time.


As for your question goes, if your top cola is done, than yes. Harvest your cola and allow the rest of the plant to finish off as needed.

Yes you can harvest piece by piece but I rather do the entire plant all at once. If you plan on revegging, think about taking clones next time. It will save you a whole shitload of time.

So to reveg after flower u just harvest then put the lights back to 18/6 or is there more to it?

18/6 or 24/0 but it takes a few weeks for the plants to revert back and start growing again. Thats a lot of time and electricty. Thats why its smart to do clones.

cool ya that is awhile to wait. So if you grow a female and then re-veg it is automatically gonna still be a female?

ive harvested the plants in peices as the bud ripppens, depends on ur size and prefference, keep in mind if ur cutting smaller peices they have a faster drying time and alot of people like a long slow dry. Also when u cut the top cola off you get more light penetration to the lower buds which will also help them get big
