ok so my plants not close to Harvesting (i think its at 30% amber?) but i like to Plan ahead.

i live with my boyfriend who hates Drugs and a mom and step dad who hates Drugs. so since my boyfriend and i share a room i cant dry my harvest anywhere in the house hanging. i was wondering if i could put it in a shoe box or something and put it in the top of my closet?
 
Yes you can. You could also use brown paper bags(sandwich). This was only my first read.
 
Get a clean cardboard box and rig some strings inside of it to hang the buds by and throw it up on your closet shelf. Depending on how much you have to harvest will depend if this will work for you.....It will smell.....if you share a room with your boyfriend or the parents snoop they will find it as this will not control the smell at all but just keep them out of sight. You can always rig a DIY carbon filter with a small fan to help control the smell....if you go that route search this site as there are some easy cheap DIY options for a smaller amount.
 
If you do the Paper bag method , that is a quick dry method, beware. I like the string in a shoebox that would keep them from flatening.

yeah i know i dont really understand it either hes Quite Ridiculous about it and the Even Crazyer thing is he dont leave my side so i can i have To wait for him to eaither take a nape and sneek out of get in the shower( he takes long ridiculous showers) to go smoke or check my plant. but i cant just leave him cause of that hes actually a really great guy other than the fact that he doesnt like one thing i do.
 
how has he not found ur grow already?

go with the shoe box thing. thats a good idea. however the smell will stink. i dont know how ur gonna get away with a full grow never mind a harvest. dont know what ur growing but when i come out of my grow room my gf can smell weed on my clothes.
 
i have to dry outdoors also i thought of shoe boxs, cardboard boxes, coolers, trashcans, but my only question is airflow.. how important is circulating air and how might i do it for little to no money
 
Get a shoe box or cardboard box. put string in it. hang ur buds. cut a hole in the bottom at both sides. the light leak wont get to the buds and u will have some airflow around the box.

ive got my grow out side hid in a small strip of Woods between me and my Neighbor its not a very big plant so it shouldnt be to hard to conceal during Drying.

hell yeah cover the whole damn thing in carbon filter if you can, no smell no fuss.
must be shit having to sneak around your partner all the time :( sympathies
