Harvest Day Platinum OG Kush

Today we harvested our platinum og kush!! 1st grow for us.

6 Platinum OG Kush
Started as clones
3X3X6 Grow Tent
400W HPS
FFOF soil
5 gallon buckets
Botanicare Nutrients

We started them as clones on March 1, 2014. We switched to 12/12 on March 16, 2014. We ran into a spacing issue too many plants in our tent and had some PM show up.

We flowered a total of 52 days. We cut it a little short because of space and to avoid PM.

Total weight of our colas cut fresh off plant.

Lookin good! Too bad you didn't let er go another week or two..they would have filled out alot more and would had a more indica smoke vs sativa..but it's all personal preference! Good job for your first grow tho! how was you ventilation? Temp n humidity?

Oh and have you read into trimming, drying and curing? If you want the most potent best tasting/smelling produt, you need to cure! And heres hoing you did no trimming until it was dry. Also you need it to dry out in a cool, dark well ventilated space..as light degrades thc content and do not put a fan directly on it. if you dont do the above you will end up wirh airey loose, low potent bud. Hang to dry after cutting at the stock for 7-10 days. Then clip off (trim) fan and water leaves. And cure in air tight mason/canister glass jars for 4 weeks (this can include drying time). Burp jars (open twice daily for 10-20 mins) as to avoid mold. This lets the bud sweat, thus bringing back all that aroma and flavour you smelled during flower! Letting the chlorophyl taste dissapear. Also makes for more dense potent nugs. Also forgot to ad you know it's perfect time to trim n cure by if your stalks snap not bend when you break them!

No problem! If your growing a primo strain, your gunna want to get the most out of it! I notice that you already trimmed er up, so it will be very dry for curing..a good way to add a bit of moisture back in order for it to sweat is by tossing a a leaf of 2 in especially if you like the stank strains like I do..kushes, cheese ext.
