Harvest Advice -- pic shown

I am a newbie so would appreciate any advice.

This is my first grow (indoor). I didn't really plan to grow, just decided to see if some seeds would sprout... 2 did. One was a girl (like me) so I chopped her companion and continued on. I don't know what type she is, nor do I have fancy equipment. Basically this was just a trial and error thing for me.

It has been a fun project, even though I have probably made mistakes, I have ended up with something.

My question is... does she look ready to harvest? I am about 10 weeks into a 12/12 light cycle and the room smells bad. LOL

Suggestions from the wise are very appreciated.

what kinda lighting you using?

As I said I did not buy any special equipment. If I could find it in the hubby's garage or in the kitchen, I used it. LOL

I have one of those big shop light things. I stole that from the husband, as well as his extension cords and timer. I am sure he is frustrated now, but will love me later.

They are 4 ft 40w bulbs. The cool type I think. It is getting cooler in the room with the weather change, should I put a heater in there?

ahh... well keep the tubes as close to the buds as you can... those things put off so very little heat and they penetrate so little its best kept within 1-2 inches...

One of my plants is literally touching my tubes. Doesn't affect it at all...

I have always kept her about 2 inches from the bulb... I'll raise her up a little. I was hoping to be able to get her out of the closet before the holidays. Not so much because I need a smoke... but I am going to have a terrible time explaing the smell in the spare bedroom when the family comes to visit for the holidays.

Not to mention, if she doen't get ready to harvest soon.... a padlock and chains on the closet may draw some suspicion. LOL LOL

just say your girl is in there.

Hell, they would think I have finally flipped out and locked my teenage daughter in there.

Not a bad idea actually... LOL

If I have to choose between my parents visiting or my girl in the closet, I am afraid the family will have to "deck the halls" at their own house this year.
