Hardstem Garlic

Waited as long as I could, ground was mostly frozen. Planted 17 cloves of hardstem garlic. Did last year too but the cat uncovered a lot of it, got only 4 mature bulbs. Kind of built a barrier around it and used more cover on top. I'm amazed anything survives the brutal cold arctic winters but it does. And it's rewarding to see it green up in the spring and grow into something edible and delicious.
