I was given a Verilux Sunshine Supplement Light System, or "HappyLight" earlier this year and was wondering... Can this be used as lighting in a small closet grow set up?
The product manual states that the light has up to 10,000 LUX of Natural Spectrum daylight... I understand that LUX and Watts are different and cannot be converted, but the product has NO indication of wattage... in fact the only specs listed in the manual is the LUX. So I am confused about what the light is capable of and whether that would be enough for my plants.
Does anyone have information on these lights that could help me? Money is pretty tight right now so an all out hps or mh system is probably out of the question. It would be awesome if this Happy Light worked because I got the light for free, but I don't want to take any chances with it being insufficient...
Any comments, ideas, ect. would be really appreciated!
