Enough about gas, recession, war, etc. I'm taking the weekend off from bad news - grateful to be a GODDAMN American and to be alive!

It's time to tear it up this weekend! Bongs hits, booze, burgers and rock n roll, old school.

Let's have a fifth on the 4th!

I'm gonna introduce my newest bong to my family...

It's name.. George Motherfuckin' Washington.. Its handheld, and red, white, and blue.

I plan to be extremely baked.

and the bongs name isn't george washington its george motherfuckin' washington.

Reason for the motherfucking is it will reach out and suprise you with how big of hits you get off such a tiny bong. lol

Happy Independence Day everybody! I love this country. I love it's flag. I am extremely proud of our Constitution, especially the Bill of Rights. I'm agnostic, but the hell with that for now... GOD BLESS AMERICA anyway!

Freedom and liberty for all the peoples of the earth.

+rep to atavistic for starting this thread.

I was just sitting outside smoking when I realized something. I live about 5 miles North of downtown in a medium-large city: Metropolitan area well in excess of 1 million population. Each year there is a fireworks display on the river which runs just South of downtown. So I'm roughly 6-7 miles away from the fireworks. I could hear the explosions, especially the big ones. It sounded exactly like artillery from the same distance.

It suddenly struck me why we Americans shoot fireworks on Independence Day. It is to remind us of the sound of revolution. It reminds us what a battle really sounds like. Sounds we have not heard on our streets in a long time.
