That's right, today would have been Bob's 70th birthday. It's a shame he isn't still with us, showing us how to paint mountains, and little clouds and happy trees. He is honored today with the most awesomest Google Doodle EVER.

hated his work. idk how he ever made it beyond face painting at theme parks.

lol I remembered he would be like "now we are just gonna add a few trees" in his voice and he paints them in like 2 strokes of the brush but they look so detailed some how.

Teaching this Kinkade guy my wife loves so much how art really is done.... one brush stroke and a forest appears...sucks hes gone.

Ross was the shit. i tried to copy some of his work, just couldnt do it with brushes and canvas, but i got close with ms paintshop

The truly sad this is in about 200 years Kinkade will be mentioned with the same awed hushed tones as Rembrandt or Klasky Csupo.
