hang it or bottle it and how much space?

hey everyone,

i've never grown before but am expecting 5 outdoor plants next year. from what i hear, outdoor grow taller, i guess maybe 100+ cm (like 3-5 feet). i'm gonna trim them to keep them small. anyway i have two question about drying them.

first, how much space will i need in terms of square footage to dry them all at the same time?

second, what is the best way to dry marijuana? some people hang it up, others put it in plastic containers - what do you suggest? i'm thinkg of hanging it up.

I like to hang mine in cardboard boxes, get some big ones run string across the top and then hang the branches from the inside, cut them to size. Close the lid on the box and be sure to let air in every day.

hang it up till the moisture is almost gone, then put it in mason jars. And, depending on the strain(sativa), outdoor plants can get over to 10 feet.
