Hang drying... Question?

First time poster, long time reader. I've recently chopped my latest lady, and a question has popped up as to the effects of simply air drying the nug for an extended period of time. The situation as it stands has the nug upside down in a well ventilated room for the last 8 days. I won't be able to get back to it for another two weeks. Is there anything wrong with this scenario? Or something bad that could happen? Thanks for any help. Peace.

it shouldn't as long as you dry it in a dark dry place to ensure it doesn't get moldy while you are gone for the two weeks...it is a little longer than you want to hang dry but as long as you cure it correctly you should be fine

So you think 3 weeks out in the air then into the jars isn't a terrible thing? Thanks for the quick response. I'm making a thread with pics as we speak. Oh, and it's in the dark. Thanks!

I'd say ~ 65, and I have no idea on the humidity. There's also a small fan in the room.
