hang dry vs curing?

wassup peoples?! okay i was wondering why my bud that is still curing doesnt smell as much as some bud i let hang dry!? wtf!? the bud in the jars don't smell that great and arent even sticky anymore. THe bud i let hang dry is hella sticky and smells waaaaay more potent! can someone explain? greatly appreciated! thanks! :peace:
 
i know, but what im sayin is that the hang dried shit is sticky and smells hella more potent than the bud that is curing in the jar, simply put... what happened...explanation. thats all! :wall::peace:

The drying process is for drying the outside of the buds. Curing is for drying the inside of the buds. I'm guessing that since the outsides of the buds were dried, it smelled good. Curing is a SLOW DRY which works on the INSIDE of the buds. Since the process is slower and works more on the INSIDE of the buds, its gonna draw out the grassy smell from the center of the buds. Just do it the right way and you won't have these questions or concerns. Hang them to dry until they are dry on the outside and then cure them.
