Hallp mature plant snapped kinda! Pics! What to do?!!?

So whats to be done? The plant fell over a few weeks ago and that half of the stem snapped. I put some tape over it, but then I noticed some mold growing on the broken stem part.

What should I do about the mold and what should I do about the broken stem?

If you put some sort of support at the breakage point the plant should heal itself.

I tried that, I used duct tape, and it didn't work great.

Any other ideas??
