Half harvest ???? chopping the top cola ???

I was thinking if the top cola looks ready and the rest of the plant is still developing bud ... is it possible to chop down just the top cola ???? would the plant go into too much stress and die ????? the redline in the picture is where I want to chop the plant at ....

Yes, people pracrise this all the time. I would wait like 5 days then chop all the leaves and wait a few more days.

Is this bluberry? It looks great!!!

that still has a ways to go, i would wait another 2 weeks before ya chop it...and dont cut the leaves off. i hate it when people blindly tell people to do this. and good luck trying to guess the strain from one pic. late

theres nothing wrong with chopping some of the fan leaves off!many ppl do it,like myself and get fat bud!

I wouldn't do it! I have done that on a purlple strain and nothing grew, just a blackis blue sap cap of some sort?? But I dont know your strain now like I dint know mine then..

I dont see a problem with it. You could def chop it if you feel the top is ready. that doesnt look ready, but like u said the tops tend to get done faster than the bottom nugs. Lots of people take the tops and then let the plant finish up. it might slow down growth for a couple days but its better than having one done bud and alot of underdone.

Also i trim lots of fan leaves off in my scrog. almost all of them. people argue against this but i think it warranted in my situation. i wanna smoke bud not fan leaves.
