Hairs on 3inch baby!!!???

does anyone know how or why there are hairs already on one of my 2 inch babies??? does this means its def female?? its under 24hr lite now, so im assuming it'll go back into vegetation....?

are you sure they are pistil hairs, both male and female plants have spur like hairs growing from the stem at the nodal points, usually 2 on each side , could they be what you are refering.

seems they are much too small to be showing sex at 2 inches.

naa, its def not those internodal hairs....ive done this before and yes i do have a pic, but its useless in regards to this question.....but i know what ur speakin of and thats def not it...its too young for those yet, it only has cotyldons now, 1 pair.

the spurs u refer to sometimes help telling male from female.....males usually X or cross, or point toward each other.....females point away from each other.

same shit happened to me once...i had one that was 1 week old n it started buddin and turnin purple..it had white and pink hairs..but it was so small it didnt form a nice bud at all..i wish i would of grew it out ..i never grew a purple plant and it happened to be a week old one..

yea but the PURPLE in ur case was prob just potassium deficiency...all seedlings or lots of em usually have purple or some weird coloring the first few days...then they green out....

so u made it bud, and 12/12 it??
