[HACKED] Mars-Hydro Reflector 96 286W cree cob

Lookin for more ideas, feel free to comment , the build consists of:


1x Mars Hydro Reflector 96


4x cxb 3070 3000k
Meanwell Hlg-185h c1400b 200w driver w/ dimmer


Meanwell Plc-30-12 fan power


CCMFC2 Fan speed controller


1x stock driver for stock leds


Ill be uploading more pictures in a few minutes

Stock Mars hydro before modification

So you've just added the cree's to the reflector? Pretty cool idea. Takes care of all your spectrum needs no doubt?

Problem with a Mars isn't spectrum, it is those crappy old epistar LEDs.

Great job! So were all the drivers except the hlg already in the box?

I have the same light except it's the 192 (4 squares instead of 2) collecting dust right now.

I had the exact one for my first grow, great for veg, awful for flower.

They put out fewer photons than an equivalent draw HPS or MH.

cob up your 192...the only stock driver is the black box one..the rest is mod

Can this be done with the 48 reflector?
It has 2 50w drivers for the lamps and a 12w for the fan

I dont see you why you shouldnt be able too, use one stock driver to power all leds and fans, remove reflectors add cobs and driver.
