H2O2 foliar spray - anyone ever use?

Many have seen the video or heard about the Jorge Cervantes H2O2 bath at harvest to kill powdery mildew.
My question is has anyone ever mixed into foliar spray to kill PM on plant during flowering or vegetation.
And if so did it work? Did it cause any problems?

For the right concentration that will kill pm off, it would damage the living tissue also. Best off dipping at the end. JAS

Dipping get complete coverage than a few dips in rinse buckets, I would have three rinse buckets, let it drip till it almost done.
Then dip in next bucket, or rinse under running water.
If you just have a 1 bucket to dip to rinse the H2O2 the concentration will be high in the rinse bucket.

Again this is not from personal knowledge, I am a Noob all information gathered here and on the Net!

Also has anyone ever actually done the h2o2 bath by Jorge Cervantes. If so what were the results?

I've tried it and it does gather on the surface, I dipped and rinsed with hose lightly and let dry with fan as instructed

We're u happy with results or Did you still see the pm residue visibly after rinsing and drying?
Do u think h2o2 really killed pm or just loosened already loose pm?

In the video don't remember if Jorge says it kills it, I think it's more of a wash, mine was minimal PM so went as a precaution

Ed Rosenthal in his book "Marijuana Pest and Disease Control" recommends a foliage spray of 2 parts water to 1 part 3% Hydrogen Peroxide for the control of fungus, aphids, mites and fungus gnats.

No; foliage spraying is helpful, but should only be do every 4 weeks in the morning, just after the lights go on, and spray the under-side of leaves ( this is were the plant up-takes nutrients) It also helps nutrient-lock-out when feeding thru the leaves

I'm fighting off PM after loosing control of temps and humidity for a couple days, the girls are in the last weeks of flower. I found on another 420 site, spray with water with a ph of 8>, I used 10.5 ph and got control of the PM, no harm to the bud. Reapply every 4 or 5 days till the week before harvest.

Would you please provide a reference for your claim that foliar sprays cause cancer.

This may be a 5 year old thread but since it pops up towards the top of a Google search. I will give the garden instructions that was paid for by a producer of hydrogen peroxide: 2 table spoons or 6 teaspoons or 30mL of 3%. My advice after using it would be to save your money.

I used straight hydrogen peroxide 3% on my plants that had bud rot(they were in mid-flower). It definitely stopped the bud rot. I trimmed the flower plus 2” below where I found the bud rot, sprayed the plant where I trimmed and the clippers and moved on to the next bud rot flower.
After trimming/harvesting I salvaged what I could of the buds and did the bud wash
1. Soaked in 1 part peroxide & 2 parts water for a minute

2. Washed the flowers in lemon juice/baking soda and warm water mixture

3. Rinsed in regular tap water

4. Rinsed in cold tap water

Then dried trimmed and cured the flower.

The flowers that were early smelled like grass. The other flowers dried just fine and the mold/bud rot never came back on any of the drying buds.

When I say salvaged I mean I cut off any bud rot areas and kept the rest.

The buds came out fine after this process. It was smooth smoke. The buds that were not washed (they didn’t have bud rot). Were harsh and made everyone cough a lot(not the good kind of cough)

I recommend the washing process even if there isn’t any bud rot. I think it makes the smoke much smoother. Plus I like the idea of washing all the stuff the flowers catch outside.

After washing the buds, there was a ton of stuff in the wash buckets(dirt, fuzz, bugs, I even found a tiny worm like thing).

The plant suffered from the straight peroxide spray after several weeks. It was still growing but the parts that got sprayed with straight peroxide(no dilution) were krisp and Orangish. I felt like the straight peroxide was the best bet for killing off the bud rot/boytris and it did do that.

If I didn’t have the bud rot problem I would have skipped the peroxide completely. I also sprayed triple the recommended dose of Monterey disease control and actinovate several times per day after finding the bud rot. I waited a few hours to spray that mixture after I sprayed with peroxide and it was more like a fine misting than a spraying.
