Gun Cabinet for Stealth Grow Cabinet

Hello,

I'm currently looking for a secure grow cabinet for 2 autoflowers at a time. I have two of the gun cabinets in the link below and looking at converting one of them into the grow cabinet. The height is perfect for the grow, but what about the actual footprint, is there enough room for two autos to stretch out? It's 17.5" x 21" x 55"

Also, I have a 4" inline fan and carbon filter but it's quite loud, is there something quieter that you guys can recommend?

Thanks!!!

If I were to use a cabinet of that size, I'd stagger the two plants five weeks apart. In other words, plant another seed once the first plant is five weeks old.

How will you ventilate it?

Thats not big enough unless its a very small auto. I have a 24 gun fire proof combination safe and I'd be lucky to get one in it. If the police are ever at your house and look around a gun case will get their attention. They will immediately go to it and check and see if its locked. That stack on is not fire retardant and doesnt have a very tight seal and you would probably be able to detect the smell. It does have a lock and it would require a warrant to open it but if they smell pot coming from it all it would take is a phone call to a judge and if you are not in a legal state or carry a card you are busted bro.

The plan is to drill a few holes in the back at the bottom and cover them with activated carbon filters, possibly add a few intake fans to help push air in. I'll vent out the back at the top. I have a SF2000 light that I have moved the ballast off the back so I can put it outside the cabinet to keep things cooler.

Thanks for the input. I have a 24 gun safe as well but I can't get it upstairs to the 3rd floor in my townhouse, it weighs 550 pounds empty. :)

You will be better off with two large circular holes, which of course makes it unsuitable for future duty as a gun cabinet.

If you mean charcoal-bearing furnace filters, I’m not sure those will work to satisfaction.
