Got the new lights in, 2 medicgrow EZ 8. Will clean up the wires soon just threw them up today. It’s very strong, at 4ft away from canopy at 60% I’m reading 22-25k Lux. Got a fan setup again in a better spot.

They are beginning to stretch! I may turn up light intensity tomorrow up to about 35k Lux. I’ll continue with veg nutes for another week and a half before switching to jacks finisher 7-15-30. Got my new ph’er works awesome. That vivosun pen was so far off reading 7.2 as 8 I probably never calibrated it right though I did not have distilled water around.

Setup a lot of new stuff the past week. Have a data logger for humidity and temp, made my own cheap irrigation that’s split between the two media’s, and a temp controlled heater to keep temps up and humidity down at night to avoid any dew.

I gotta fess up, I was abit of a turkey and started probing around in my root zone on the 12 peat and vermiculite only substrate plants, and was getting 5.8 across the board sometimes 5.6
I should have left it be. They were doing perfect, but I had to go and top dress A WHOLE GRAM of dolomitic lime to each and watered it in.
I may have just started the “death bloom” of the 6 or so plants I hit. I’m not sure if they will have any fan leaf’s left by the time this is over. I think the magnesium in the dolomite is locking calcium out. I did this about two weeks ago, I used way too much. lesson Learned, don’t panic dump shit into your plants. They are slowly getting worse since I took this picture 4 days ago.

I turned the lights down for a few days to give the calcium wracked leaf’s a break while I try to supply the roots with enough calcium to avoid further fan leaf damage. I started adding small amounts of gypsum into my feeds to add abit of extra calcium And turned the lights back up.

Currently have about 630ppfd on central canopy, edges are 450ppfd. I could have it higher I’m sure but I fucked the nutrients up and I’m taking it slow. Even under this intensity some leaf’s looked sunburned and were healthier looking if they were shaded by another leaf, so I took that as a clue and raised the lights to max height at 800w. Around a whopping 3 ft from the canopy instead of 2 1/2ft.

I’m surprised the plants aren’t more burnt, I wonder if I should stay here or back off abit, I’m noticing some slight burnt tips and canoeing. I’m probably going to back down around 1.8 and see if there are improvements or deficiencies I really don’t feel like nutrient locking these fellas out with too much nute. the irrigation took a shit on me so I’m back to hand watering to runoff. Not totally sure it worked well in the first place anyways. They are also picking the scrog net off the ground, taking it with them as they rise.

The #Ez8 arrived last night, and after staring in awe of it I finally got to work. Assembly couldn't have been much easier, hook the hangers, snap on the light bars, plug in the electrical cord, done. The plug is set up for European use but there was a us plug adapter with it. Runs 100v-277v so 120 or 240 circuit, she runs.

So I've been arguing with myself on whether to run autos or photos. Couldn't really come up with an argument for one over the other. So I started my last autos that I didn't breed and I think I may have drown them. They've still got a couple days before I call it. While I've been waiting for the autos to erupt from the soil(first time attempting soil germination... Probably the last) I started a few more photo seeds in hopes of some girls(I cut 2 males last month and i think I'll have another this month). Using the soak and paper towel method, I've got 2 Pineapple Express, 2 Mimosa, 2 Wedding Cake, and 2 Banana OG that have all popped and erupted from their Jiffy pods.

The #Ez8 is so powerful I was afraid the new sprouts wouldn't be able to handle it, so I germinated them and gave them a week under about 270ish watts. Once I was pretty sure they sprouts would survive I moved them into the big tent with the Ez8.

Here is the tent as it sits. I've got to do the Male purge so not all will make it. But till they preflower there are 3 Mimosa, 2 Wedding Cake, 2 Banana OG, 1 Pineapple Express(fem). 2 Caramelicious auto S1, and 1 Cream Mandarin XL auto. Bit of a tetris game to get them in there.

There has been much improvement with this update. My 2 Caramelicious are about a month from harvest(pic 1). Their tent mates are starting into some good vegetative growth and I have even started 4 more seeds that will see nothing but the #Ez8. Let me get the tent back in order and I'll put a full tent pic up tomorrow.

So, as I Said in a previous post, the new girls were sprouted under the #Ez8 dimmed to 60%(600w) 57 inches (130cm) from the floor. They had all popped within in 4 days and I put them in their Jiffy pellets on 9-9 and by the 14th all 4 had erupted from their coco. If you look close at the whole tent shot you can see them in the foreground of the tent. But I'll post again with their progressions thus far.

The Hawaiian girls have grown, at least at the point of this pic all 4 were doing great. Nice tight internodes, good coloration. This was on the 4th of October

Well the shoes keep falling. Pineapple Blue Pops, is a boy. He's on the left. Goodbye for now Pineapple Blue Pops. Pineapple Doc OG, on the right, has pistils showing! Time to do some thinning on the other veg girls, flip the 4x4, and see if I can work my current flower girls into the 4X4 and set the 4X3 up for my auto breeding project
