growth issues

I got a few plants growing outside in pots its been a full month now and they're only about a foot tall. Iv seen other people plants at a month and they're twice the size or more. I'm in florida so I get plenty of sun. Any advice

Were they indoor plants you put outdoors? Could be they got confused and switched to bloom or are in limbo. That would halt a lot of the growth.

Other things that could stunt them:

over-watering
under-watering
poor soil
attempting to nutrient feed them too early
pests

.... and the list goes on
 
Not sure probly like 6 hours if its sunny all day. I try to move them around to get sun as much as I can.
