I've been to some of these towns that keep objecting to cannabis businesses. Most of the ones I've been to look like the economy stopped dead in its tracks decades ago. It's hard to see what they think they are "protecting" by banning cannabis businesses, because for the most part there's nothing there except for warehouses, junk yards, liquor stores, ugly "light industry," vehicle repair facilities, strip malls, pawn shops, bail bonds offices, tattoo parlors, railroad tracks etc. Lots of gang graffiti but no "culture."
