Growing upside down

What say you?

My first thought is hell no!
My second thought is, this must be tinkered with this summer.:lol:
I can see alot of heat issues if used inside, but still worth a shot. For the sake of experiment if nothing eles.
I do have the extra room and seeds.
I guess I could by a few CFLs, can't see my MHs working out so well for this upside down set up.

Not sure what could be gained, but it's only $30.

Darwin didn't have HIDs or CFLs for his tests. I believe they grow toward the light so if the lights are at the bottom shinning up it could be possible. I'd like to see this experiment done. Who knows.
He's talking about the root system.
I um, overlooked gravity.
To be honest, I didn't even think about the roots.
...but I don't feel high.:dunce::lol:

Darwin just thought of the idea, Its long since been proven as Fact. Weed is phototropic as well as gravitropic. Phototropic meaning that foliage will turn towards the light, but it is also gravitropic so regardless of light, if it was upside down it would bend back up.

If you dont believe me try it out with a plant in veg. Bend a branch over, tie it down with a light pointing at the tip. It will curl back up within a few hours. :bigjoint:

:peace:
