Hey gents, I'm not a first time grower, but it has been a while since I've germinated. So anyway I germinated the little girls about 5 weeks ago, and after the first week all became seedlings with tiny cotyledon leaves. So for four weeks they have been growing directly (within 2 inches) underneith a 2 foot, 4 tube T-5 fixture. This is a high output fixture though which puts out about 8,000 lumens. I do plan to move them under a 400 watt mh for veg though. Now in those four weeks they've managed to reach about 40mm (1 5/8" standard) and about three tightly packed internodes with leaves. However, I feel like after four weeks they should be much larger and more developed. Don't get me wrong they look healthy, but I feel by now their roots should be fully developed. What do you guys think? How many weeks after root development should it take them to start shooting up? Is my light too week to sustain them in veg at this point? Sorry no pics. Thanks
