growing small

well it depends what you mean by small. do you mean short bushy plants or dwarf "mini" plants?

Im having this same issue with a plant i started this shyt is getting too damn big.... from what ive read you can try toping it, LST, or if it still gets too big tie it down

basically it all depends on light and space. the more light you have the shorter and bushier the plant will be, and plants naturally adapt to the space they grown in. A large area will produce a large plant, a small one will produce a tiny plant. if you are trying to grow a drawf plant you want a auto-flowering indica strain

if u want a small plant try flowering from seed
if u want bushy try topping, fimming,or lsting

i want if i can notmuch taller then 2ft if possible i dont care about bud wieght it is my first grow

like said above, to get the short plant, germinate the seed, and place under 12-12 light scenario from day one. I believe there's a whole thread dedicated to 12-12 from seed. Check it out. Good luck man! Walk On!!~!~~~:weed:

ya i read that but u also said try lsting i want to know if there is a guide on that somewhere in this forum.

you should care about bud weight, that's the whole reason your growing lol. LST means low stress training, its simple you just tie down the stalk/bigger branches so the smaller branches can receive more light. It will help the plant stay short and bush out horizontally instead of vertically,

yeah they have threads about it...low stress training...all it is is bending and tying instead of toppinp...but u can do both for a bushier plant
search lst

technically "bending/snapping" branches is supercropping, not LST. low stress training is the tying down of the main stalk/larger branches so the smaller ones can receive more light.

Just make sure you use a short strain. Trying to bonsai a Landrace strain could be a challenge. Doing the same to a shorty like "Reclining Buddha" would be a snap.
The strain has a lot to do with it.

and what happens to something when it is forced a diff direction....it bends....u might mean crimping/snapping is supercropping

hahahah ... yuea good point ... put a 15wk sativa in there and no matter what ur fuk'd ... hahahaha! :weed:

No.............

You'll just have to wing it this time. Next time though, get some high quality small strains. They will be much easier to control.

thats the plan my buddy gave these to me out of his bag. he mixed all the seeds he has together well ten of each. he says he likes the suprize
