Growing outdoors (in a back yard)

I've read through the nevada law several times now, and see no mention of whether or not patients can grow their plants in their backyard. I assume if we could, we'd have to make sure it couldn't be viewed from the street, but it would be nice to know either way.

If you are within the law I can't see that it would be a problem. I have read the law as well but don't remember seeing that specifically. I don't have the time to read it now but I will later to see if it's maybe hidden. I guess you could call the Dept of Health and ask. That is if they even bother returning the call. I haven't had much luck with that lately. The only problem I see with growing outside is keeping your plants safe from thieves.

You can grow outside as long as it is not in public view and not within 1000 feet of a school. Read the 453A law. It tells you all about it. Also it mentions 7 plants but 3 flowering and 4 vegetative. If the cops stop by, make sure you have 3 plants in the flowering stage, even though they are not really flowering. GET IT!!!

You are so lucky to have a grow place outside. I am doing it indoors and I don't like it.

I'm looking for a outdoor grow. I'm currently in Las Vegas but I looking to move to Pahrump, so I can finish growing them outdoors. Las Vegas is too expensive.

I looked again also and the only problem I could see with growing outdoors is if it's in public view.

Nevada is a big state - I think some cops do know the difference. That's not the point though. The difference in doing things properly and doing things improperly is an affirmative defense.

They go by mature plants that have visably buds and if it doesnt have visable buds then it is still immature plant, they also count unrooted clones as immature plants so its reslly hard to keep the plant count. It just doesnt make sense.

Because i kno for a fact i dont want a single mother plant. I want atleast 3 diff strains is that so bad?? Haha and if i had 3 mothers i could only have 1 of those cuttings a veg it out. So whats the point?stupid laws

That why it better to grow inside then out side here in vegas to many noise people

Here's my first try in growing here in Las Vegas. Planted it, watering it, training it. Mother Nature doing the rest.

Hey good job! I live up in the north near CC and haven't tried growing outside yet. I hope they survive your 116 F today. It's 102 up here today but that's as hot as it gets here. Do you find you need to shade it somewhat to avoid the dirrect blazing sun? Just asking so when I try outside I'll have an idea how to do it. Good luck!

i'm surprised you have those ladies in the sun...partial i hope? i tried putting tomatoes in full sun = fail....i figured shade in vegas is like full sun in say oregon or something....at least until plants get big, then maybe full sun.....good choice on sativa though, i would make sure 90-99% shade if it were indica.

I have them in the direct sun from around 6 AM to around 5 PM. They Love the sun! Fan leaves grew to about 7 inches across before I cut them down. I have one plant left that was in the shadows of the other plants. Tiny right now but is loving the full sun. Only time will tell.

maybe it's an acclimation process or genetic allowance? I'd love to be able to throw a plant out in full sun here....much cheaper than under a damn light bulb.
