Growing Outdoor: Ground Vs. Buckets

Which option would be more ideal if growing outdoors for a high yielding plant?

Ground: More Stealth, More Room for Roots to Grow

Buckets: Can Move indoors if early frost, Less Stealthy, No Need to dig holes for multiple plants

I would think in the ground is ideal. Unfortunately I have to grow in a pot because the only land I could plant in doesn't get any direct sunlight.
