ok a question which might have been answered a long time back but..

how would you go about growing a large yeild but at a lower weight...

ie lower weight buds but with the mass as high as possible if that makes sense?

i was thinking why people spray shit on their plants to get a larger weight yeild but not a high mass.. as to not producing bigger buds at the same weight...

ummm....why?

I just dont think im getting your concept.

Do you want fluffy buds that really stuff a bag or hard nuggets that you need a tool to break up?

Bigger buds at the same weight would mean that they're air-y and puffier, certainly not denser. This is what you seek to accomplish? I'm not sure you have thought this through very well.

Mass and weight are essentially the same thing. Except weight is a value we give to the mass of something on earth. Mass is the same no matter where you are at...

Ahhh.... I got ya...

So basically, you want big fluffy buds with lots of trichomes that will fill up a big ol' jar without adding up weight wise. I'm guessing this is because you want a lot of personal bud, but don't want to exceed the limit imposed by the medical laws?

There are several things you can do to produce airy, fluffy buds. The first major thing you can do is to not give your plants tons of lighting. This will do wonders to your financial situation as you will only really need a few simple CFLs. This will cut down on electricity, supply cost, heat, etc...

Second, don't give your plants any additives with high potassium. The potassium is what they use to produce denser fruits.

what does potassium actually do to the plant for it to grow a denser fruit?
and would there be something you could add to create less dense fruit?
