i don't think so bud. you would have to live insanely cheep.
with a 400w light you can have 4-6 plants at 1-3 oz a plant. so call it 10 oz every 3 months. 10oz at $300 a zip (high price) your looking at about a grand a month and thats the high side

umm..when did target start paying over 40k a year to hourly employees? obviously not salary with the varying paychecks. i know the store manager at a local target and she doesn't make anywhere near that, and that's with salary and already having an associates degree. i think someone is fibbing. however if you were to make a separate veg area you could basically flower large plants quite frequently. instead of constant 12/12 clones, just flower a few and use the time to veg up nice big plants. 2 plants that get 2 months veg will yeild way more than 4 or 5 12/12 from seed/clone.

What I would do is grow double amount by transplanting at flowering so only half the plants can fit in flowering room make a dark box and every 12 hours switch plants from darkbox to flower spot and vice versa this doubling your yield. Since you ain't working you should have the time .

well i dont know what target you friend works at but Ive been loading trucks for almost 4 years and every 2 weeks the most with over time was 1,520 no ot 1,200 and thats only 600 a week so if youre friend went to school for 4 years and makes less some1 is getting DICKED real hard...why would I lie about working and getting layed off from target??? If i lie it will be grand not simple.Thanks tunda never thought about the darkbox..

check it out ... grow Sog style.. say 12 plants under one 1000w or maybe 25 under 2 600s ....(if u veg for 2 weeks or tell there about 6-8'' tall then flow.) have a good cycle idk 2weeks to clone 2 weeks in veg(could go longer) and 7-9 weeks in flow... u have somewhere between 11-13 weeks from start tell end. so for a small set up (no huge plants) you could cut down 1-2 plants a weeks and maybe go a little about 2ozs a week... and driving it to Texas or getting a hook up maybe a good idea. ALSO have you ever sold weed? i mean you need hookups to sell to lol

Yeah what Tunda said. You can have a 400 going 24/7 flowering 2 sets of plants switching them in and out, and also have a few vegging that stay with the light 24/7. A mother plant, some fluoros, and a cloning kit (or some jiffy pots and large clear party cups) and you're all set. 6oz a month off a 400 in soil easy. And 1500 a fortnight is only 39k a year (gross?) I think maybe Total Head thought you meant after tax or weekly or something.

if your not in the usa the run 1 600 on 240volt 24hr and switch your plants out in hydro i like top feed slow drip but u choose your style plants dont need water at night so you dont need 2 tabels and you will pull more off those than u made at target or whatever

just make sure if you do the dark box not to have any light leaks and try not to miss a day moving plants from place to place. All it takes is stress to make plants hermie and everything goes to seed. Heres another tip if you do ever run into a hermie or hermies from stress dutch masters reverse works wonders i hear. reversing plant from hermie back to female.

Dope reps for every 1..@ledgrowing I am in the usa cali boy, going to get my card and see what happens.. have plenty of choices thanks to you guys.. almost done with 1st grow in soil. ganna read up on the top feeding and tables. I just think soil maybe be a bit easier being in an apt. Thanks Tunda again..cant rep you again just yet

Find out what your electricity supplier charges per kilowatt hour (kwh), multiply it by 24, then divide by 0.6 for a 600 watt, or 0.4 for a 400 watt.
That will give you the daily cost. If you are on a split plan ie 18 hours charged at premium rate and 6 hours charged at nighttime rate, then use the formula above for each rate separately and add the totals together.
eg:
Off Peak is 10c per kwh and Peak is 20c per kwh, so
6 hours at 10c per kwh = 0.60
18 hours at 20c per kwh = $3.60
Total $4.20
$4.20 x 0.6 (600 watt)= $2.52 per day
