I have big interest in growing 30 lowrider plants under a 1000w HPS. This would not require me to use the MH bulb, and in 50-65 days, I'd have an average harvest of 900gr dried (feminized plants). Is this a decent harvest (2lb) for the time the light is running (2 months)? I would rather harvest frequently rather than wait for a bigger harvest (using regular plants with MH and HPS)

Sounds like a hell of a plan...if it would work....you might pull close to 900grams if you did an intense sog with high yeilding clones
Well the lowriders yield an oz per plant.. my question is then, how many can I put under the 1000w HPS?

Ive never grown lowryders...but plants from seed arent very consistent...have you grown many of them before? do you know for a fact that your average is one oz each? how big do they get? I think a 1k hps can cover about 20-25 square foot area pretty well
They seem to be pretty consistent according to everyone that's grown them.. They grow to be between 12" and 18" (some are a little bigger)..I think I would be safe with 30 under the light, I will let you know when I try it.. I just wanted to know if it was absolutely completely wrong or if it was plausible.. thanks

I guess it plausible Id like to see what you end up wit.....if it works it Id look into it though I hate messing with seeds.....clone are where its at for me
Definitely agree with you there about clones, just the lowriders catch my interest.

900 grams per 1k is a great goal to achieve. most people say 1lb per 1k.
