i am currently germinating some special kush #1 seeds and they can reach heights up to 3 meters. which is way to tall because i am growing in a closet, so i was wondering is there anyway i can switch the light cycle over to 12/12 once it has reached 1 1/2 feet in veg. to force it to flower and still get a decent yield? im just hoping for an ounce but more would be good lol

Yes you can flip them to flower anytime at all. You can go 12/12 from seed and end up with a single cola about 1.5 feet tall. I am growing a kush strain and flipped them at about 1-1.5 feet and none of them stretched more then 6 inches....Its very strain dependent but indica strains do not stretch as much.
Although if you are looking for a good yield you should LST (low strength training) to get multiple tops on a short plant.

you can switch it at 1 ft. Try tying down some of the branches, Indica is the way to go. What kinda lights, setup? Soil/Hydro?

it will get around 3 feet tall if you veg until they are 1 1/2 feet tall. most plants will double in size, sometimes triple.

Right now I'm using 6 27 watt cfl's, I plan on getting way more, and I'm growing in soil. Is it any thread or site you can refer me to about LST because I know nothing about it lol
The craziest thing happened last night.....I had watered my plants during the light hours and didn't check it again until after it had its dark hours and when I went to check on it my vanilla kush seedling was completely gone with a hole in the soil and I know no one took it, so I'm guessing that a rat got in it seeing as how its in the closet lol, but I wasn't pretty made about it cause I was looking forward to growing it and enjoying the smoke

I also was wondering does anybody use iguana juice grow or bloom for there plant nutes or kow any good nutes for both veg and flowering, I just want like 2 simple bottles to get the job done in both stages because this is my first grow and I think its best if I avoid any advanced things at the moment lol
