1 problem. they virtually dont sell them anymore!!! now days its all the inflatable crap at walmart, target, sears, etc. i cant find a plastic baby pool in a store for the life of me. wtf.

Yeah you probably need to buy a plastic pond shell that would get buried to create a fish pond in your yard. The other option would be to fashion your own frame and layer it with 'pond plastic' stuff to create your own waterproof area.

Pools do work nicely!
Peace

its a great idea but i cant find one. what do you guys think about filling large plastic garbage bags with 5-7 gallons of good topsoil/potting soil and growing in that instead of buying pots? Cheap and effective in my mind. Just poke some1/4 inch holes in the bottom for drainage.

Yeah but u would have to use multiple for holding, do u want to plant them in the growund or as pots ?

in pots because the water level is about 4 inches under the soil. but i dont wanna buy pots. i dont see anything wrong with using garbage bags.

if you don't plan on moving it I don't see why a garbage bag wouldn't work. or you can get a cheap plastic storage bin for $2-3 lots of places
