I know it is looked down upon to broach the subject of growing hemp on here....however. I have been online searching for a source for seeds. I have an interest in growing for CBD not neccessarily THC....health reasons etc. It is proving difficult to find a source that sells small amounts of hemp seed. Looking to buy for next year. Any help is greatly appreciated....

Or maybe I have it all wrong and should just source a very high CBD cannabis strain, although they seem to be fairly rare. There is a hemp strain called Cats Meow that apparently has a 40:1 CBD/THC ratio.

Is the Sebring guy legit?

I will tell you what I know. I was referred to him by a reliable RUI member. He was (maybe still is) giving away the seeds for free...to help get his name out there. Seeds were femmed and he sent me 20 seeds or so. I got 50% germ rate but plants are doing good. I have some in bloom right now.

I just tracked down his new website. He has the lab analysis for Sebring's Revenge online. The Guys name is Sebring in case you're curious. And by all accounts (3 people) lol...he's legit.

Snapped a photo for you. This one was manifold trained. Has 20% CBD and like 5% thc and so far has no unusual growing traits. This one is just waiting for a slot in the flower room...

Cool...he's still giving away seeds. His business is in my home state (Washington) so I got my seeds in just a few days. And like I said...I know 2 other guys who are growing it. One's a Canadian dude. Go for it if that's what you want.

The seeds I got weren't the greatest looking seeds. A little pale...but I got adequate germing.

I'm looking to use it for edibles extraction so I can start each day with a CBD snickerdoodle...ah...life is good.

I want to use it for oil for pain management etc.

My neighbor uses CBD salve for knee pain...swears by it. I am not familiar with making salve or linements... but bet there are recipes out there. I have a worn out hip and oral CBD seems to work best for me.

PS I wouldn't worry about the back order. You'll get seeds from a fresh batch.

I am disabled due to back disc herniation, sciatic nerve, and kidney issues. I grow Harlequin and Dance World CBD. I use them to make cannabutter, Canna oil and Rick Simpson Oil. They helped me a lot. I ordered from a place called Pacific Seed Bank. Good luck!

I recently got my free order from Sebring! I haven't grown these out yet, but what I received looked good. The strains he carries vary based on availability, apparently. I got some I was interested in and he threw in more for added variety. I can only legally grow low/no-THC cannabis, so I'm not sure these are all okay here, but I'm excited to try growing my own high-CBD hemp.

A full review will have to wait a while but I'm impressed as hell with Sebring Seeds so far. My order only took about a week to make it 1000+ miles, was packaged nicely, included more than I requested, and cost me nothing more than the low shipping cost.

I tried to order free CBD from them but every time I did it kept saying that my address was invalid? I tried it several times and it kept saying the same thing?

Hi Booger Momma,
Some sites use Post Office regs for address configuration. Such things as the 4 digit addendum to zips that most people ignore...they'll get blocked.

I am growing a Sebring. One I harvested early due to space crunch. They are nice to grow. Got one more that's producing bud. I made some CBD cannabudder with the early harvest one and was pretty satisfied that it was indeed a CBD strain. I'm not an experienced cbd dosemaster though...
