Growing for fun

OK, so this is my first grow, bagweed. Nothing fancy. So anyhow, I'm about 4 weeks in and I've already screwed up. I didn't have nearly enough light, so they have about 3 real sets of leaves each, and they've streched. I corrected this yesterday. I now have 2 plants of unknown gender/origin growing under a 400 watt MH lamp. 24/0. The've already responded to the change in light. Ok, so pictures to come today/ tomorrow. Questions/ comments appreciated.

What kind of lighting were you under before the mh?

I'm sure they'll love you now that you put that guy in there! Are you switching to hps for flowering?

I'm embarassed to say that I thought 2 26 watt CFLs were gonna be enough. And I don't think I'm gonna use an hps, I'm on a tight budget, and the MH was a steal at $30 for the whole setup, slightly used. I'm hoping that if I keep a journal, and plenty of pics, people will point out the stupid crap I'm doing wrong.

My two babys. first two pics are about a week ago, 3rd is when I swiched the light, 4th is one plant last night... having trouble with my other last night pic.

I think the HID lamp was to close to em... got back from work today, they had yellow spots, and they were wilting. keep your fingers crossed for me.
