Hello everyone, its been a bit since I posted last.

I have learned so much since then and have made the correct choices on what to buy and what not to.

So here is what I have for setup.

Tent

8 x 4 x 6.6ft Grow Tent

Lighting

Hortilux 1000w HPS x 2
Hortilux 400w MH x 1
Light Hangers
OG-8 OG Vertical Reflector x 2
Solis Tek 1000W Ballast x 2

Filtration

Duct and Hose Clamps
Lightproof Ducting
Phresh Filter 750 CFM
Active Air 8 inch In-Line Fan 720 CFM

Acessories

Solis Tek LCD remote for Ballast

Hydro

Aeroflo 60 Unit
EZ-Clone Classic 64 Cutting System
Bluelab Connect Guardian Monitor PPM, Temp, PH

Nutrients
General Hydroponics Hydro Nutrients
PH Up and Down


Strains

Cotton Candy
Purple Haze

So my setup will be as follows.

SoG ( Sea of Green)

Will be growing out a Mother for each strain then cutting the clones from her.

Which then I will put into cloning after they have good roots in a couple of days I w them into Veg for 1 Week on a 400W MH lamp.

Then turn on 12/12 for Flower with HPS.


I will be using 60 clones.

So my questions are as follows.

How many mothers would I need to get 60 clones?

How man PPM do I need per week? Any chart for you Aero growers out there?

Also on Veg for SoG do you Veg at all and if so how long also how long from put into 12/12 until harvest?

Also would you suggest I use the 1 1000w or the 2 1000w bulbs.

Seeing as my tent is 32 square feet at 1,000 wats thats 31 for the lighting. Seems ill need atleast 40 plus. Now if I use the 2000 watt thats 62 of light.
Now I can dim down my ballast to use less light.

How many watts do you think ill need ? Planning on a half oz- an oz per cola.

Any suggestions helpful.

This is a prepetuial grow and will stay this way. Every harvest more clones go into veg and then flower.

Hope to get some answers.

now i dont know if this is your first grow or whether you have some experience, but here's my thoughts.

with that much space and those lights if it was me i recon i'd just get 8 plants going and veg them for 2 months before going 12/12. take clones before doing so and in 2 months restart the process.

I know that advice doesn't exactly fit with your plans or intentions, but i don't have the answers you're looking for. i'm just a goat who hangs out in the Toke and Talk, though @mainliner clearly thinks very highly of me. Thanks, guy. :)

i am going SoG sea of green so veg time would be very small if any.
 
ok. well i have a small sog style grow going on. sog style in that i tried to go to flower asap, but due to both new medium and nutes and going from seed i ended vegging for ages, and now i wish i'd done a soil scrog with 4 plants instead of passive hydro sog with 15.

that's all i got for you, really. i'll be watching your progress though.

Yeah starting fro seed with SoG isnt too great as clones work best for timing.

So 6 weeks = 20 clones correct. Well ill have to think here as SoG may need to wait until I have enough clones and may have to start a SCROG first instead of wasting all that time.

But 3 plants could yield 60 clones in the same time. Or maybe 6 plants could do it in 4 or 5 weeks or less...

If you set up 4 plants in a scrog in a 4x4 net you could probably get all your clones for the big op, and let the net refil for the next run. Shouldn't take long either. I think I counted about 120 tops in my 4x4 scrog, admittedly after maybe 2 months. But, that was MY grow. You could definitely trim that time with a focused goal.

Thanks for the help.

Yes this is true, but SCROG would require me to flower out my plant first.

I am not too sure here now on SCROG vs SOG. I am well aware SoG yield is higher if proper cultivation is done.
But getting the 60 clones for my aeroflo may take some time which is expected.

Any good tips as I am going to go for SoG and grow out some mothers.
