Growing blue widow with only one light?

Hello, I have a 2700k red spectrum CFL light ( 125watt) ready to grow my lowryder seed. However, I am still waiting for my coco for that grow, but I have some compost and a free Blue Widow feminized seed which I got for free:

Would I be able to grow that In my soil with only a 2700k red spectrum light? Is it worth it to try? I don't mind if it fails, it would be my first grow attempt ever and it would be a free seed gone!

I want to practice with it anyway beacause I want to practice germination etc...

Should I just try to start on a light cycle and change after a few weeks to try to make it flower?

-thanks

(bare in mind, if it fails, i don;t mind.. i just wanna know if it could be possible)

Yeah u can 125 wattsb is sufficient light for a small cfl grow. 2700k is flowering spectrum so unless you have a 6500k bulb for a few weeks of veg, i would say go right into flowering, 12/12 from seed.

Is that 125 REAL watts? You can veg in 2700K but it may be slower growing until flower, but yes it can be done.

yeah, it is a real 125watt cfl...

So, if i germinate with the paper towel method, and then plant it in a pot (do i face the sprout down into the soil, or up?) and if i use a 12/12 light spectrum, ill leave it like that...

Then what? Just water it enough to keep the soil moist? I cant REALLY get nutes till the end of the month, is it alright to wait that long?

Ill keep a grow diary on this forum so I will hopefully have people inputting on my grow...

Thanks people! can't wait to get started tomorrow.

Sprout facing down, make sure to not let it dry out. I would not me ss with notes since it is your first grow. Just get down the basics, watch how it grows, then next time u will have a feel for it. But that's just my opinion, good luck growing

wont it die without nutes? I thought that they are needed a few weeks down to help it survive?

I basicly think the plan is to germinate, plant it in a pot with 18/6 light then change it once it grows a little bit. then change to 12/12 :)

I am going to start with a small plant pot to start it off, then Ill ask on here when I start my grow diary, about when to increase plant pot size

thanks for help

You can face the taproot up or down, people do it both ways. I have always faced the taproot down personally. After that I sprinkle enough dirt on top to just cover it, spray mist until its nice and wet, sammich bag the top and put it under a light.

Plants don't get nutes in the wild except from the ground :) It's a good idea to use them but not early, you want to wait a few weeks before you use them and then you still want to dilute them well. Your soil is the most important thing starting out, what are you using?

I think it's a generic garden soil. Nothing special. But I have literally no money to buy anything else. When I get paid at the end of the month, i will purchase coco for my lowryder 2 grow (Hence why I only have the red spectrum light, The Lowryder was my original decision)
