Major issues right out of the box....low Umol output, and non working "boost" mode on both brand new lights! I bought these through ledgrowlightdepot.com and they have NOT been helpful in helping me resolve this issue more. It's been a week and i have yet to hear from GROWER's CHOICE!

Growers Choice is a budget brand, not recommended by anyone that's an experienced grower. If you can return them I would do so.
I disagree completely and I was unaware only experienced growers could read and interpret information, but if that is the criteria then I guess growing since the day I was an overgow.com member should qualify me.
I didn't just wake up and purchase these on amazon cause they looked cool.

Well I still don't know anyone recommending them lol but I hope you get the problems solved.

I feel like they're defective if the boost mode doesnt even work. but that still doesnt explain the low umols it puts out compared to its previous 680 version.

ledgrowlightdepot put you in a pretty shitty situation lol.

let us know when it gets resolved. I reckon they have to let you keep these and send you replacements on top of it for all this hassle.

unfortunately you can't rely on claims and data provided by LED makers and it is difficult to find accurate information. their still claiming a 130 watt LED can replace a 1000 watt HPS and that plants don't light that LEDs can't produce efficiently like violet and UV. seems like your left with trial and error

Growers Choice is a budget brand
budget quality, non-budget price point
i never thought id hear myself say/see myself type this, but dealing directly with china seems to be the way to save loot without sacrificing too much quality on led. with a few exceptions (hlg, timber, etc), thats all most companies are doing- copping a ton of china fixtures on the cheap and slapping their own logo on them. some work as they should, others are junk, some are a mixed bag due to non existent qc

Ledgrowlightsdepot utterly useless.

Not sure about the Growers Choice lights but many manufacturers put a piece of paper in the box saying "Don't return to retailer" and provide instructions on what to do if you have issues. Would that be the case with these lights?

Never mind, I went to growers choice website and found this, not sure how it applies to their LED products:

GCWarranty.PNG

So I suppose you are stuck with the pathetic vendor support that you are getting from the seller. Might be worth an inquiry to Growers Choice just to see if your distributor is authorized.

lol what a prick. these people at ledgrowlights probably dropped it or messed with it while making their videos then gave it to you.

Only use I have for them is their par readings on the new LEDs that come out from their youtube vids. Them not having it already for this specific light which has been out for over a month already is a red flag for me.

This was just sent to me by "ERIK" from LEDGrowlightDepot.com, this is HIS solution to selling me defective lights, the balls on this guy..
It says Growers Depot charges them 25% for returns as distributors so thats what they charge you.
All they do is exchanges for the Mfgr. as distributors, thats your warranty.

This was not a simple return, they sent me defective lights directly from GC warehouse. LGLD never handled them, however he is responsible for making sure my issue was resolved. GC refused to ship me new ones so I could switch them out basically saying they were afraid I might steal them. they would only exchange them if I shipped back the broken ones and waited for them to process the return and ship out new ones, all while my plants are left in the dark.
